How to Uninstall Yahoo! Toolbar

After install yahoo toolbar, you are unsatisfying with yahoo toolbar and want to uninstall it and try other toolbar to block pop-up Ads, this article will do you help to uninstall yahoo toolbar step by step.

Some versions of Toolbar have an Uninstall menu option in the Toolbar Settings menu. Depending on your version of Toolbar, the Settings button might look like , , or . If you do not see any of those buttons in your browser, it is still possible that Yahoo! Toolbar is on your system. If you do not see the toolbar in either Internet Explorer or Firefox, follow the uninstall instructions for both browsers to make sure that it is removed from your system.

Internet Explorer users:

1. Open the Internet Explorer browser.
2. Click on your Settings button and look for an Uninstall option. If it’s there, click on it and
   follow the instructions to uninstall Toolbar. If you do not see an Uninstall option, continue with step 3.
3. At the bottom left of your Windows screen, click the Start button.
4. Depending on your Windows version:
   • Select Settings and then Control Panel, or
   • Select Control Panel.
5. Depending on your Windows version:
   • Double-click or select Add or Remove Programs, or
   • Select Programs and then Uninstall a program, or
   • Select Programs and Features.
6. Scroll down the list of programs and select Yahoo! Toolbar.
7. Depending on your Windows version:
   • Click Remove, or
   • Click Uninstall.
8. When prompted, confirm the uninstall.

Firefox users:

1. Open the Firefox browser and look for a Settings button in the toolbar area of your browser. If you do not see it, you might not have Yahoo! Toolbar installed for Firefox.
2. Select Tools > Add-ons from the Firefox menu (not from the toolbar Settings menu).
3. Select the Extensions tab in the Add-Ons window.
4. Scroll down the list of extensions, and click the Uninstall button for Yahoo! Toolbar.
5. When prompted, confirm the uninstall.
